Spanish Technical Data Sheet and ITV Inspection

We process the Ficha Tecnica Espanola (homologation) and then prepare your car in our own garage (MD AutoZentrum, based im Almoradi) so that it can go through the ITV technical inspection, a mandatory, very thorough, technical screening for foreign vehicles.

Custom Duties and Regional Taxes

The Special Tax on Certain Means of Transport (IEDMT) is the Registration Tax (it depends on your vehicle's CO2 emissions). The Tax on Mechanically Propelled Vehicles (IVTM) is the equivalent of the Road Tax in the UK. We will handle both and make the process hassle-free for you.

DGT application for Registration

Once we collect ALL the necessary documents, we will submit the official registration application to the DGT (General Directorate of Traffic). You must have at minimum of a third party liability (responsibilidad civil obligada) insurance policy in place before the DGT will finalize the registration. We can also help you with this, we speak the native language and know the Spanish system very well; However, our multilingual team will be happy to talk to you in your own language.
